Making a CD
1) Find the music files you want to burn onto the CD. If you are using the files from this page, please make sure to save them onto your own computer before you burn them onto the CD.
2) Insert blank CD-R, CD+R, or CD-RW into CD/DVD burner.
3) The above menu should appear automatically. If not, just open the Start Menu > My Computer > CD Drive.
4) Drag and drop the files you want to burn into this area. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the files.
5) Once you have all the files you want to burn onto the CD, click “Write these files to CD” on the left side navigation at the top.
6) The above Wizard will appear. Type in what you want to name the CD.
7) This step is very important. Most car stereos and individual CD players can only play Audio CDs. To be on the safe side to be able to listen to the file anywhere, burn it as an Audio CD. Data CDs for music are also called MP3 CDs. They can hold a lot more music, but only computers, and some other CD players can read them.
8) Click “Next >” to finish the setup and start burning your files. Depending on how many files, the quality, the length of each file, as well as the speed at which you are burning, burning a CD can take anywhere from 30seconds to 10minutes.
